Qualification
Jr. Research Fellow: M. Sc Atmospheric Sciences/Oceanography/Earth in Sciences/Physics/Mathematics/Equivalent with first class and NET/GATE OR B. Tech/ M Tech in Atmospheric Sciences/Mechanical/Civil/Chemical/Computer Sciences equivalent with first class and GATE qualificaton The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
Research Associate: Ph.D in Atmospheric/Oceanic Sciences/Mechanical/Civil/Chemical/Computer Sciences with first class in the preceding degree OR M Tech in Atmospheric Sciences/Mechanical/Civil/Chemical/Computer Sciences/Equivalent with first class and 3 years of relevant research experience.
Salary Details
Jr. Research Fellow: Rs. 31000/- Per Month
Research Associate: Rs. 47000- 54000/- Per Month
