Qualification
- Project Scientist III : Master’s Degree in Atmospheric Sciences/ Climate Sciences/ Meteorology / Physical Oceanography/ Oceanography/ Ocean Engineering from a recognized university/institute with first class and at least 60% of marks in the qualifying degree
- Project Scientist II : Master’s Degree in Oceanography/ Ocean Engineering/ Physical Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/ Climate Sciences with first class and at least 60% of marks in the qualifying degree.
- Project Scientist I: Master’s Degree in Atmospheric Sciences / Climate Sciences / Meteorology / Physical Oceanography/ Oceanography/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Geo-informatics/ Mathematics [or] Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Computers/ Information Technology from a recognized university/institute with first class and at least 60% of marks in the qualifying degree.
- Project Assistants : B.Sc degree in Physics / Mathematics / Statistics/ Biology/ Zoology/ Fisheries/ Chemistry/ Electronics from a recognized university / institute. AND Basic knowledge of computers, in case of non-computer subjects at graduation. B.Sc degree in Computers or Science or computer technology or BCA from a recognized university / institute. Diploma in Electronics and Communication / B.Sc in Electronics from a recognized university/institute with first class and at least 60% of marks in the qualifying degree.
- Project Scientific Administrative Assistant : A Graduate degree in any discipline
Salary Details
- Project Scientist III : Rs. 78000/- Per Month
- Project Scientist II : Rs.67000/- Per Month
- Project Scientist I: Rs.56000/- Per Month
- Project Assistants : Rs. 20000/- Per Month
- Project Scientific Administrative Assistant : Rs. 18000/- Per Month
