Qualification
- Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale): A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of education qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) (ii) A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent there to. A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D./M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or a recognized qualification equivalent there to.
More Details Check Official Notification. - General Duty Medical Officer: A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 [persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (3) of the Act]. Three years experience after one year compulsory Internship.
Salary Details
- Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale): Rs. 1,24,297/-Per Month
- General Duty Medical Officer: Rs. 1,03,000/-Per Month

- Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale): 40 years
- General Duty Medical Officer: 35 years
