- Junior Overman (Trainee) : Diploma in Mining or Mining engineering or other equivalent qualification approved in that behalf by the Central Government
- Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I): Diploma or Degree in any subject other than Mining Engineering.

- Junior Overman (Trainee) : Rs. 31,000 – 1,00,000/-Per Month
- Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I): Rs. 26,000 – 1,10,000/-Per Month
