Qualification
- Constable (Pioneer): Officials from amongst CAPFs/ CPOs/State Police Organisations holding analogous post with 05 years of regular service and with 03 years experience in the Works branch or Pioneer Section.
- Constable (Bugler): Officials from amongst CAPFs/ CPOs/State Police Organisations – Holding analogous post with 10 years of regular service.
- Inspector (Drill Instructor): From amongst CPOs/CAPFs/State Police Organisations: (i) Holding analogous post (Inspector); or (ii) Sub-Inspectors (Exe/GD) with 5 years regular service in the Level-6 in the Pay Matrix, possessing the following qualifications.
- Inspector (Band): From amongst CPOs/CAPFs/State Police Organization: (i) Holding analogous post; or (ii) Sub-Inspector (Band) with 6 years regular service in the level of Pay Matrix, Level-6, Rs. 35,400/- Rs.1,12,400 (Revised) PB-2, 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-(Pre-revised) in the grade.
- Inspector (Mess): From amongst CPOs/CAPFs/State Police Organization: (i) Holding analogous post; or (ii) Sub-Inspector (Band) with 5 years regular service in the level of Pay Matrix, Level-6, Rs. 35,400/- Rs.1,12,400 (Revised) PB-2, 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-(Pre-revised) in the grade.

- Constable (Pioneer): Rs. 21700 – 69100/-Per Month
- Constable (Bugler): Rs. 21700 – 69100/-Per Month
- Inspector (Drill Instructor): Rs. 44900 – 142900/-Per Month
- Inspector (Band): Rs. 35400 – 112400/-Per Month
